Business Registration and Certificates of Liability Insurance Requirements

The Town of Hackettstown has passed an ordinance requiring that all businesses within the Town be registered with the Town Clerk's Office.  The State of NJ is requiring all business and landlords to carry liability insurance in the amount of $500,000, also to be filed in with the Town Clerk's Office.  Attached is the letter of explanation, the application and the Ordinance detailing the requirements. It is the responsibility of all business owners to comply with the ordinance.
