2027 NYE Blast
Hackettstown's Fourth Annual New Year's Eve Blast Featuring An M&M'S® "Ball Drop" At Midnight
Hackettstown, NJ - The Town of Hackettstown, the Hackettstown Police Department, Mars Wrigley, and the Hackettstown Business Improvement District are prepping for its fourth annual New Year's Eve Blast with an M&M'S® ball drop at midnight.
This year's festivities will take place in the heart of Downtown Hackettstown from 8 pm to 12:30 am, and it will be a night to remember.
Please check back for updates as the event approaches.
Starting at around 5:30 pm on Thursday, December 31, 2026, until 2 am on Friday, January 1, 2027:
- Main Street (Route 46) between East Plane Street and Valentine Street
- West Moore Street between Main Street and Washington Street
- East Moore Street between Main Street and Sharp Street
- High Street (Route 517) between Main Street and Franklin Street
- Grand Avenue between Main Street and Washington Street
Plan an alternate route and expect delays in the area.
Starting at 3 pm on Thursday, December 31, 2026 until 2 am on Friday, January 1, 2027:
- Main Street (Route 46) between Valentine Street and Center Street
- Liberty Street between Main Street and Franklin Street
- Franklin Street between Liberty Street and High Street
Any vehicles parked in the No Parking zones will be ticketed and towed.
Parking will be available on side streets and in municipal lots. The Hackettstown Parking Authority will allow free parking at all metered parking spaces and in municipal lots on Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2026, and Thursday, Dec. 31, 2026, unless otherwise posted. Additional parking will be available at Centenary University, 715 Grand Ave.
Portable restrooms will be available in two locations: at the Gazebo at Main Street and West Moore Street, and in the parking lot of Grand Ave Tavern off Grand Avenue in the Kids Zone.
Alcoholic beverages are prohibited in public.
Extra police officers are assigned to the event.
If anyone sees something suspicious or that does not look right, tell a police officer, or call 911 immediately.
