Fire Department

Responding yearly to an average of 300 calls for service, our dedicated volunteers are well trained, progressive, and driven.

Recreation

The Hackettstown Recreation Commission was established by ordinance in 1948 by the Town Council. The Commission is comprised of seven member, which are appointed by the Mayor for a five-year term.

Tax Assessor

The Municipal Assessor is responsible for valuation of all real property located within the Town for the purpose of establishing a fair and equitable tax base.

Tax Collector

The Tax Collector performs a wide range of duties including preparation and mailing of annual tax bills, posting and processing all tax payments, providing the Council with a variety of reports that reflect accurate collection and enforcing all statutes regarding the collection of taxes.
