National Night Out

The Hackettstown Police Department participates in the National Night Out event, which is held on the first Tuesday in August. National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live.

Project Medicine Drop

The drop box is located at the Hackettstown Police Department. Residents may visit the Hackettstown Police Department at any time to dispose of their unused or excess medications anonymously.

Pedestrian Safety Program

Street Smart NJ is a public education, awareness and behavioral change campaign that was first piloted in five New Jersey communities – Hackettstown, Jersey City, Long Beach Island, Newark, and Woodbridge but has expanded to over 80 communities.

13th Annual Halloween Downtown

The 12th Annual Halloween Downtown Event will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 3 to 5 pm at The Gazebo (Main St & West Moore St).
