13th Annual Halloween Downtown
The 13th Annual Halloween Downtown!
Get ready for a spook-tacular afternoon on Saturday, October 31, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at The Gazebo (Main St & West Moore St)! Join us for fun, treats, and festivities!
Parade Line-Up & Judging: Begins at 2:00 p.m. at Centenary University on West Moore Street (between Beatty Street and Second Avenue). Winners will lead the parade with Mayor Jerry DiMaio!
Parade: Kicking off at 3:00 p.m., the parade will travel down West Moore Street to The Gazebo. Kids can enjoy candy from Mars Wrigley, gifts from Hackettstown Stormwater Management, treats from WRNJ Radio, a free pumpkin from Donaldson Farms (while supplies last), and more!
Costume Contest: Prizes for the BEST COSTUME in the following categories:
- Infant to 3 years
- 4 to 6 years
- 7 to 10 years
- Family
- Pet (Any Age)
If you can’t make it in person, don’t worry — the parade will be livestreamed on the Town of Hackettstown Facebook page and on the Hackettstown Police Department Facebook page, starting around 3 PM.
Trick-or-Treating: After the parade, kids can Trick-or-Treat at downtown businesses and enjoy Trunk-or-Treat from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the rear parking lot of Trinity United Methodist Church (213 Main St) and in Municipal Lot#2 behind EXIT Realty Connections NJ (149 Main St). Follow the signs!
